Thekkady/Vagamon

The package spends 2 nights each in Thekkady and Vagamon. While staying in Thekkady, we visit Ramakalmedu, Idukki dam, Kalvarimount ( Kalyanathandu) viewpoint and Periyar wildlife sanctuary. On the way to Vagamon visit Parunthumpara ( Eagle rock), Kalyanathandu viewpoint and the hanging bridge in Ayyappancoil. We show you all the major attractions in Vagamon too which is Vagamon pine forest, vagamon lake, Marmala water falls, Murugan hills, Thangal para, Kurisumala, etc. Lots of trekking included in this sen percent hill station tour.

Day 1 - Thekkady

Upon arrival in Kumily/Kottayam/Cochin/Madurai, our representative welcomes and drives you to the hotel in Thekkady. Check in to the hotel and later go for boating in the Periyar lake. Evening spend time for buying spices from the spice town Kumily. Overnight stay at Resort.

 

Day 2- Thekkady

After breakfast proceed to Ramakalmedu, a superb place for trekking and sightseeing. Head towards Idukki dam (permission allowed only on public holidays, festival times and weekends), one of the largest arch dams in Asia. Later on the way back visit Kalvarimount view point. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

 

Day 3- Thekkady to Vagamon

After breakfast proceed to Parunthumpara viewpoint. Later visit Panjalimedu viewpoint. on the way to Vagamon visit the Hanging bridge in Ayyappancoil. Check in to the Vagamon hotel by evening spend the rest of the day at Leisure.

 

Day 4- Vagamon

After breakfast, visit Vagamon Pine Forest, Marmala Waterfalls, Thangal Para, Barren Hills, Vagamon Lake, Vagamon Falls etc. Overnight stay in Vagamon resort.

 

Day 5- Departure

Have your early meals. Visit if any places left and later head to Cochin/Thekkady/Kottayam/Madurai/Cumbum for onward journey.
