How To Reach
Tamil Nadu lies on the southern most point of India. The state shares its borders with the states of Karnataka to the northwest, Kerala to the west, Andhra Pradesh to the north, Bay of Bengal to the east and surrounds the Union Territory of Pondicherry. Everything about Tamil Nadu gratifies the eager sightseer, be its social, cultural and art forms, its temples and heritage sites, the picturesque hill stations, and the beaches. By Air
Tamil Nadu has an extensive domestic flight network from major cities of the state to the rest of the country. There are domestic and International Airports at Chennai, Tiruchirapalli, Coimbatore and Madurai that serve flights to U.K, USA, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Sharjah ,Malaysia et al. Cities like Thuthukudi (Tuticorin) and Salem have domestic airports. There are local buses, auto rickshaws and mobile app taxis to take you to your destination from the airport.
By Train
Tamil Nadu is a part of the Southern Railways and the state’s railways form an extensive web of intra state rail network through the length and breadth of the state. Also, the railways provide train services to all other parts of the country including West Bengal, New Delhi, Punjab, Jammu And Kashmir and Assam as well as to and from the neighbouring states of the south. It provides a unique experience travelling through to Tamil Nadu by train. It’s lovely to sit by the windows, watching the rolling countryside, the animals grazing on the plains, the groves of coconut and huge neem trees and far off temple gopuras (tower).
By Road
Tamil Nadu’s road system encompasses about 1.70 lakh km. There are well organized inter and intra Government and private buses that travel through Tamil Nadu and to the neighbouring states of Kerala, Karnataka, Pondicherry and Andhra Pradesh. You have a wide choice of buses from air conditioned sleeper coaches, deluxe and semi-deluxe coaches to regular buses. There are well maintained National and State Highways in Tamil Nadu that make driving over to the state a very non-cumbersome process. You could also book call taxis or tourist taxis for travel.

1. Ooty
Often referred to as Queen of hill stations, Ooty is one of the best hill stations in India and among the top places to visit in Tamilnadu. Ooty is situated at a distance of 265 km from Bangalore.

3. Kodaikanal
Hill Station
Often referred to as the Princess of Hill stations, Kodaikanal or Kodai is one of the top tourist destinations in Tamilnadu tour packages and among the best hill stations in South India. It is located at a distance of about 469 km from Bangalore & 528 km from Chennai.
